John Curtin Weekend

More than 500 members of Curtin Volunteers! (CV!) from Curtin University of Technology recently visited over 30 regional WA towns and two metropolitan sites, to take part in a multitude of community service projects as part of John Curtin Weekend 2007.

John Curtin Weekend is WA’s largest annual community project. The John Curtin Weekend activities honour Australia's wartime Prime Minister John Curtin by celebrating his qualities of vision, leadership and community service.

John Curtin Weekend expanded this year with additional country, metropolitan and international locations, with activities at John Curtin House in Cottesloe, Leeuwin Ocean Adventure, Curtin’s Miri Sarawak campus and two American universities participating, Simpson College and Kalamazoo College. John Curtin Weekend has become so popular that it spanned over five weekends this year.
